Okay, I ran detect and repair and no luck.
I just tested saving onto my network drive and amazingly, that works.
So I guess I can have a work around... just save all publisher files to the
network drive.
I don't have notron, I use McAfee....
I am going to search the 2000 knowledge base now...

THat article does not sound like the problem. My video drivers are up to
date...
I flashed the bios last week...
How do you do a detect and repair? Are you talking about a OS repair...
tried that too... :(
I would buy a new version of office if I thought it would fix the problem...
but I am skeptical. I think it is system related, but what?

I'd upgrade your drivers. Even though your system is not old, there could be
updated video drivers. There are all sorts of upgrades you could pursue. Your
system may need a bios flash. Look at the web site of your laptop
manufacturer.

Also, I do have a network drive. Would that interfere. I am not saving to
that drive.
I'll try disconnecting them...

I get the following error when saving any publisher files. Even new
ones.
"Due to low memory or use of a floppy other than the one you started
with,
Publisher has had to rename your publication A:\FILENAME.TMP. To resume,
close all programs including Publisher; then restart Publisher and open
the
file. You may rename the publication."
I have tried:
- uninstalling and reinstalling publisher.
- reinstalling office
- reinstalled adobe acrobat
- increasing virtual memory
HELP! I don't know what to do now...
