Smiles - ty for being so considerate. I'm trying the trial in order to
determine if it is the software which serves my needs the most, rather than
waste money on purchasing something only to find out it was not what I wanted.
Addionally, I am discovering that there are next to nil softwares (that I
would use) which are compatible with Vista. So far, I haven't found any.
I bought Print Shop 22 Deluxe with assurance from Microsoft, Broderbund, and
the store rep that it was compatible with Vista. I even got the MS suggested
way around it, but it just doesn't work still. I can create and that's it.
Can't open, can't edit, can't find extension to open with. In part, that's
why I wanted to try Publisher, hoping it would help me.
So, ultimately I've already wasted $60.00 plus taxes because it's sitting on
my shelf.
I will definately try the suggestions from John and Mary and let all know
what the outcome is. Take care.

I'm going to ask a question that is not meant to incur your wrath, okay? Is
there a reason why you just don't buy Publisher if you want to use it?

"The installation of this package failed" is the exact wording on my 2nd
attempt to open and run.

Tks both Mary and John.
Successfully downloaded Office Publisher to desktop, but installation
failed. My 6 week old new system has caused me DAYS of unsuccessful
attempts at rectifying Vista issues. I not able to do much more than
surf the net with it. I'm at my wits end.
I may just take the entire system back and wait until the tech issues
have been resolved. I'm in the thick of setting up my own business
and have spent more time trying to "fix" my computer than on my
business set up.
LOVE the Vista improvements, but the "EASE" of using XP is gone. This
product and company has literally prohibited my life's movement. Very
disappointing, especially coming from MicroSoft.
I have to make a decision now. Tks again though all!
