I'm pretty much out of ideas. You could go to Add and Remove programs in the
control panel, scroll down to Office, click change and try another repair.
Your custom dictionary could be corrupt.
Rename the damaged custom dictionary. To do this, follow these steps: a. Start
Windows Explorer. To do this, right-click My Computer, and click Explore on the
shortcut menu.
b. Browse to the location of the damaged custom dictionary. (hidden file, in a
folder similar to this, C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Proof)
c. Right-click the custom dictionary, and then click Rename.
d. Rename the custom dictionary file by using the .old extension. For example,
to rename Custom.dic, type custom.old, and then press ENTER.

I'm sorry but this is way too complicated for me. Any other suggestions. It
seems there is no simple cure for this ailment.

Sorry but that was my first course of action. At first I got a message
saying that "installation source not available". So I used the install
cleanup utility and then was able to repair office. But this did nothing
to
get rid of this problem. Should i do a complete delete and reinstall - i
was
trying to avoid this.

You can get a print out of your office codes by downloading Belarc

I have tried detect and repair, i have even repaired Office using my CD
but
this annoying window keeps coming up about wanting to install
Hyphenator. I
am using Publisher 2003 SP2. Changing the Tools - option - edit it
makes
no
difference. When asked if I wanted to install Hyphenator I clicked yes
and
my document disappeared and i had to close Publisher and open it again.
I
am
puzzled what is going on.

that
