I think today I'm going to redo it again, and make the sun (using yours) a
little more yellow and lighter. Mine is printing out a gold-orange and when
*I* see it I think of a fried egg (LOL)

I also was playing with Word Art last night (till the wee hours..) and
making logos, and discovered there's a sun in the auto shapes.

This is the first logo I tried (I think it probably has too much, the
rainbow and shadow, etc but I was experimenting). I just keep thinking "I
love this stuff!" There's so much I want to learn and do.

I once read a joke, something like "you know you spend too much time on
a computer when..." things like "there's skid marks on your mouse pad". One
was you find yourself going to bed at night with a book about WORD.

I laughed at myself last night, when I thought of this, and realized
this is my night time reading- "Using Microsoft Office 2000" (Que) When I
first got it it seemed like too much I couldn't figure out where to start,
but now I'm doing it more in parts and looking things up as I go along. I
was in the Publisher section last night and it referred to Word Art (in
Word) I know Pub. has Word art, but using it in Word there seems to be more
options.

I may never get anything else around the house done again, and I really
don't care (LOL) Took awhile (and a lot of years of being a housewife and
mother, and then saying "if someone can tell me what one DOES with a
computer- at home, I'll get one) but I think I have finally found my
passion. What I love to do. Whether anyone ever pays me for doing it or not.

Isn't that the whole idea "do what you love"? I'm sure most of the people
coming to this group feel the same way, though of course getting into
earning money doing it would be the ultimate.

What a wonderful group "computer people" are. Everyone is always so helpful
and willing to share and teach. I've had to fix my own computers, too (due
to finances) and have had much help with this, when it's been needed. And,
of course, because I've had to do it myself, I've learned a lot in the
process.
