Flickering problem

Just recently I have started getting a problem where the Publisher page
flickers annoyingly for varying lengths of time. Sometimes this continues for
a long time and is not resolved by shutting down Publisher and reopening the
file. It seems to be related to the number of pictures on the page I am
viewing. Can anyone help me - is is a problem with my screen resolution? or
a problem with Publisher?
