This is not a Publisher issue.
I've found that just because Windows XP (Pro and Home) have a DOS emulator,
this does not guarantee that it will run any DOS-based program.
(I've had to deal with too many irate business customers who bought new
computers and found that their DOS programs wouldn't run. I told them that I
never would have sold them a system with Win XP knowing that. They couldn't
understand why they weren't told this. I explained I felt it was better to
err on the side of caution. Some of my former co-workers felt differently.
The client paid the price.)
