Does this happen with every application or just Publisher?
Does this happen with new newsletters?
Are you saving over a network?
Can you consistently reproduce this message? For example, can you create a
new publication, attempt to save it say 5 times, and get that message and
have it happen with all new saved publications where it is saved 5 times?

Recently, and more frequently as of late, I am unable to save my document. When clicking on the "save" icon, I get a message that I'm trying to save to a write-protected disc. The disc where my document resides is my hard drive and is NOT write-protected, nor is it full. > > The newsletters are documents I have to access (and save) many times over the course of writing and editing, and having to save this as a temp file is cumbersome and time-consuming, not to mention irritating. If the disc were truly write-protected, I would never be able to make changes or save the document, and that isn't the case. I just cannot save it more than a few times before I get this error message. > > Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated! Many thanks. > > Barb
