The root folder is the area on the server where your first page of your web site resides. The default for publisher is the "index.htm" file. That file needs to be placed in the root folder on the server. Your provider will tell you where that folder is on the server. Who is your provider?

I submitted my Publisher web sites to Norton Safe Web. I'm supposed to add a
publicly viewable file at the root folder of my Web ... but I don't know what
a root folder is and I don't see anything created by publisher that says it
is a root folder. Can anyone help?
