Please do not start new two new threads. I spent quite a bit of time
responding to your questions back on the 2nd, and that is where you should
have replied, and not started a two new threads. In the future please show a
little consideration and stick with your original post, and answer any
questions posed in trying to clarify your situation or your issue. It is
kind of hard...and irritating, to help you when you don't.

Here is my original response with some other comments:

"Publisher has changed a quite a bit since Pub 2000. There is a new coding
engine and the way you produce your web files are different among other
things. In Pub 2000 you would Save As a Web Page to produce your web files.
In Pub 2007 you Publish to the Web. In Pub 2007, unless you change the
default you then get an index.htm file (your home page) and an index_files
folder that contain all your other pages and the images and other supporting
graphics. In Pub 2000 there was no subfolder. You do have the option of
turning that default option off if you want to. Tools > Options > Web tab.
Note also that the default file extension is now .htm and not .html, though
they both work.

Perhaps most importantly is that if you moved to Vista from XP, or IE7 from
IE6, then the method of uploading has changed too. It appears from your site
that you are using forms, and thus HTTP uploading protocol vs. FTP
uploading. Here is an article that describes uploading protocols:

Prepare, publish, and maintain your Publisher Web site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher/HA100947601033.aspx
It is written for Pub 2007, but if you are using IE7 instead of IE6, then
the directions for using Vista would apply. FTP uploading has changed with
the introduction of IE7. Pay particular attention to the instructions for
FTP uploading in Vista. You can probably modify these to use HTTP and
mapping a network drive.

You might also read these two articles to understand how Publisher has
evolved:

Web Publication Changes Made in Version 2002 of Publisher:
http://msmvps.com/blogs/dbartosik/pages/81262.aspx

Publisher 2003 - What's new in web design for this version:
http://msmvps.com/blogs/dbartosik/pages/80555.aspx";

----------------------------------

If you want to use FTP uploading then you will not be able to use your forms
on your site. As I explained, and as the articles explained, the forms
require HTTP uploading. And as I explained that process has totally changed
since IE7 and Vista have been introduced.

At this point I would suggest that you do just that...change your site such
that you do not use a form and just use FTP uploading. I doubt that you are
going to figure out how to use HTTP uploading. Furthermore, I would suggest
that you download and install the free ftp client FileZilla. It is likely to
be easier for you. Read the Help file instructions on how to use it, and the
documentation on the FileZilla site.

Hello. I've spent hours going over the P-help items, the M-knowledgebase,
and
these discussion groups. Also have read the articles linked in the various
responses by helpful folk. When I save the website to my FTP location on
my
computer, it saves but evidently doesn't go to my website. I'm making
changes
to my website created in P-2000 using P-2007. Hope someone can help!! The
websiite is gracepublishing.org and the host is HostMonster.com.

Thanks,
Marshall
