meta doesn't count as much as it used to. google looks at searchable content
more than tags...searchable content meaning text that is NOT in an image.

David,
To get a better description of a particular page to show in search
results,
and therefore increase the likelihood that people will click on it, I
would
like to be able to group particular pages, so as to give them specific
meta
tags and description. For instance, this link
http://www.professionalcounselling.co.uk/ending_relationship.html on
ending a
relationship comes under the heading 'dealing with an ending', for which
ideally I would want to use a very different description/keywords/metas
than
f.i. 'Human Givens'. It is then less likely that Google picks phrases out
of
context to display and possibly give an incorrect impression (desription
out
of context) of a page.
I hope that explains it better.

Elly,
I think I understand much of what you are asking, but what do you mean by
"...meta tags, as Google's
description is not necessarily correct"? Can you give us a link to
specific pages and examples of what you are talking about?
You can build your site with multiple Publisher files, and I will discuss
that if that is what you are asking, but it would be helpful to
understand a
bit better what you are tying to accomplish.

Now I am beginning to understand uploading better - can I just check I
have
this right? Can I build the site by moving existing pages into a new
site,
saving it as webpage in a different folder and uploading it under the
same
ftp? Grouping pages would help the problem with the meta tags, as
Google's
description is not necessarily correct. What happens to the index?
