Re: Publish a Web site by using ftp with Publisher 2007

Debi

You have two pages called Necklaces
One is blank. The one with the pictures on it needs some adjustment
The work neck lass is chopped off at the bottom.
Try running design checker before you republish
Sometimes you can catch things like that there

Spike! Check out www.glasshappyonline.com!!!! I uploaded the files within
"index.files" not the folder the first time. All of the files within
"index.files" were not in a folder, which they needed to be. Got It! When I
make corrections, which I see that I need to do. Do I follow this same
process each time? If so, I guess the new files would replace the old files
on the server? The pictures are loading slowly. Is that because the original
pictures are 1224x1776? If so, should I reduce the size before I put them on
my website? You are awesome! Debi

You up loaded the "index_files"
Did you also upload or create the folder "index_files" on the server?
In order for the site to work you must have all those files in that folder.

Did you upload the "index.htm" file in the root directory? This is your
home page that you see when you open the site.

Hang in there Debi, we will get it working for you.
