Re: web page on local server

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Javascript is now going way out of my depth sorry!

I am using it as an internet microsite and the form is being used to get
engineers to fill in set information regarding accident reporting. then the
information on that form is to be sent back to me where i can report on it
back to our head office.

Apologises for the delay in replying, but i only work part time

thanks

As I said in the general Publisher group, the Publisher web form is
dependent upon FPSE being installed on the server. I also suggested that you
google for "javascript forms" to find some free code to use as an
alternative. Did you do that?

I am not sure what your question is. Please rephrase and try again. Also,
why do you need a form on a local server anyway? What are you trying to do?
Why not just put in an email link and forget about a form altogether?

I have scaled through the questions and still i am no wiser to solving my
problem.

I am using the forms and have a submit button which i require to go back
to
my email account. etc

Now i do not plan to publish this website i have developed i have used
the
save as option to convert it to a web page. the file is stored on our
server
and appears on our desktop, so really it is functioning like a website
just
not publish via HTTP. Every item works as it should like a web apge
however i
get this webbot porblem like others. how do i solve the problem if i am
not
technically pulshling the website?

Thanks

I now some replied to be about javascript, but i am not hot on this
sunbject.

thanks
