Re: GIFs not showing up on webpage after published to web.

If you are getting the red X, then the file is not there. When you Publish
to the Web and produce your web files in 2003 and 2007, then unless you
change the default setting you will get an index.htm file (your home page)
and an index_files folder which contains all your graphics and images, and
your other pages of your site. You probably did not upload the index_files
folder....intact...and at the same directory level as the index.htm file.

If that doesn't solve your issue then tell us what version of Publisher you
are using, and post a link to your website.

Yes... then I'm assuming I have the wrong GIF path used on my page? I
think
the GIF in the page is routing back to the one on my C:, how would I
change
that?

Thanks!

I created a simplie "under construction" page for our company with just
some
simple contact information while our site is being created. I have a
logo
on
the page, but when I uploaded the file to my FTP site and previewed the
page
its not showing my logo, just "X". Can someone tell me how to get my
logo
to
appear?
Thanks!
