Re: Adding my personal Windows media file & PayPal buttons

Dave and Rob,
I admit I am truly a beginninger with this stuff. I'm not a computer
illiterate and do learn extremely quickly though. Here's what I have found
so far. I published to my local drive the website I designed in Publisher
2007. I tried to open in EW and I couldn't get the entire files even though
I followed all the directions. Then I tried to open in DW. Wow, it opened
with all the files. I admit that there are some problems on visual design
view, but the majority did come in. Template I was using, colors, fonts,
jpegs and all my text. Problems are with the forms I used in Publisher (I'll
have to redo) and I had removed all my links. Basically I will have to now
redo a form for request/coments that I use, hyperlinks, insert video and go
to PayPal to get their line of HTML for link and buttons, shopping cart.
If this is any indication so far, I'll be going with DW even if it costs
more. Microsoft sometimes doesn't create the most user friendly software.
Also, I personally feel their help is not the best. I called a few days ago
and I do have free support for 90 days, and was told to contact my computer
mfg. I did, they told my its my problem to figure things out not Microsofts
or theirs. (Of course there's a problem there too!)
I really appreciate everyone's guidance. I just want to get this website
republished so that it looks and feels professional and I can't do that with
freebie software. Too limited and the existing site looks it!
Donna (not afraid to try)

Video...Yes, but not automagically..
Paypal no problem, just copy/paste Paypal generated code wherever you want.
I gotta run, more on inserting video later.

| By the way Rob...going back to the original questions here...will Donna be
| able to easily embed a video player in a EW site? And, won't she also
| "insert" PayPal code into EW too?
|
| I am not suggesting that she shouldn't move to EW, but are these tasks
| automagically done in EW? Could you discuss how one would embed a video
| player in EW, and how one would integrate PayPal? Thanks.
