Re: No Pictures...Pages will not link

Thanks for posting the URL...that helps.

I think perhaps that you did indeed upload the *contents* of the index_files
folder, but you didn't upload the *folder* with the contents within. I say
this because I found this:
http://www.yocoso.com/image3411.jpg
The image should not be at the root directory along with the index.htm
file...it should have been here:
http://www.yocoso.com/index_files/image3411.jpg

Go up to your site and delete all the Publisher html files including all the
graphics files out of the root directory, and upload again, but this time
leave the index_files folder intact.

Before you do that I would also suggest a couple other things. The fact that
your image is named 3411.jpg instead of 341.jpg suggests that you did not
compress the images before you created your html files. So, if you are using
Pub 2003:
Reference: Compress graphics file sizes to create smaller Publisher Web
pages:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher/HA011266301033.aspx
If you are using Pub 2007, then the compress graphics feature is already
installed.

Also, before you Publish to the Web to create your html files go to Tools >
Options > Web tab and uncheck "Rely on VML..." and "Allow PNG...".

And finally, if you are putting anything on a Master Page, move it off.
Master pages don't work correctly in Publisher web pages.

Try those things and see if that doesn't solve your issues.

And by the way, FrontPage is a much better program for web building. You
probably should have stayed with it. Publisher is a DTP that has web
building capability, but is intended for simple, static websites.

Generally the problem you are experiencing is because you have not
uploaded
all the html file and folders. When you Publish to the Web, Publisher
produces an index.htm file (your home page) and an index_files folder
which
contains all the supporting graphics and additional pages to your site.
It
sounds like you did not upload the index_files folder.
