My advice would be to not bother with Publisher...learn a little HTML and
CSS and put some time in with FrontPage, MS Expression Web, or Dreamweaver.
Then a little time with Photoshop or other good image editor for images, and
maybe something for graphics like Xara or Illustrator.
You may need some database help to serve up and search images of homes.
There's more too, but it's not undo-able, just depends on what you know now,
and how much of this you are actually gonna do yourself and what you have
the time/energy to learn.
Why not bother with Pub?....it's not the correct application and anything
you do in Pub now will have to be totally redone later.
Just my 2 euros.

|I just cannot help but respond to Mike's comment:

| "I just hate for you to be dreaming about the vacation homes you will be
| buying from all the money you will make selling templates"
|
| Mike, please see: http://www.tucsonluxuryvacationhome.com

| I really don't have time to respond to any of your other BS... but suffice
| it to say, you have a can't do it attitude, and that will always be your
| limitation in life.
|
| As for David and Rob... if you have anything of value to add that you
think
| I would find beneficial to at least hit the ground running, I would
welcome
| your comments. I understand the Pub is only a short term solution... but
I
| at least want to get some momentum, and start knocking these things out.
I
| already have over a dozen Realtors, with multiple listings, who are
prepared
| to pay me $100 per listing to create these websites. It's not just a
| website... it is a way for them to differentiate themselves in what many
| consumers view as a commodity business. In the short term, I would like a
| streamlined solution which would take someone no more than 10 to 20
minutes
| to edit. Long term, I would like to work with someone that could take
this
| concept to the next level with a Flash website. If no one has anything
| constructive to add, then I will check back with you in about 30 days,
after
| I publish website 100. Think I'm full of BS Mike? Watch and learn.
