Are you sure she is using Pub 2003 and not 2000? Perhaps you should download
the whole service pack rather than using the update feature. Of course that
is about 19 megs, so I would do it with a broadband connection.

I got the woman to download the service pack at MS and after two hour
download on dial-up it asked for disc-2 of Office 2000 rather then Office
2003. One might ask if I clicked on the wrong SP but I allows Microsoft
update wizard decide. Well then guess I am to blame for letting it decide
:-)

Publisher generates an index.htm file and a index_files folder containing
the other pages and supporting images. If you have some images showing
and
others that aren't, then its possible that you need to compress the
images
before uploading. Right now your link is not working at all.
Reference: Compress graphics file sizes to create smaller Publisher Web
pages

Also go to tools > Options > web tab and uncheck "Rely on VML..." and
"Allow
PNG...". This will help the loading speed. And be sure to use Publish to
the
Web to generate your HTML files.

We are using Publisher 2003, created a site, previewed the site from
the
local hard drive and all works fine. I uploaded the files using Windows
Explorer's FTP capabilities since when doing the upload via Publisher
(using
dial-up) caused Publisher to freeze. Once the files were uploaded I
tried
to
view the pages. The pages come up but most of the time the images don't
show
up which is what I am attempting to figure out why they are not showing
even
though they are physically available and in the right path i.e.
index_files.
The domain
www.sharedhopeforhealing.com
was created in Adobe Homesite and is working just fine.
The site created in Publisher
www.sharedhopeforhealing/publisher/index.htm
is the problem site.
Note: We want to move to Publisher rather then my Homesite created site
because there is a need for users to be able to update the site and
Homesite
of course is not in the same realm i.e. no content management per-say
as
in
Publisher.
Any thoughts to why the images are not being displayed would be
great!!!
