No access to head section.
But the js doesn't need to be there.
Put the js into a html fragment anywhere on the page.

Is there any way to insert JavaScript code into the <Head> section of the
HTML of a webpage designed in Publisher 2003? I am aware of the option of
viewing the source code and inserting the code . . . However, that is
time-consuming, not user-friendly and not what a designer wants to have to
do
to creater dynamic web pages. What other options are there for inserting
code into the <Head> section?
