You won't explode the internet by trying you know! :-)
FP admin is extremely misunderstood by a lot of hosts.
IF your site truly has FPSE installed ( AND working) you should be able to
Publish via the http method. TRY it FIRST - before resorting to ftp, because
ftp WILL corrupt the extensions.
Good luck!...and post the URL so we can see it. If it doesn't
work...welp...it's time for a new host.

|I am ready to take my web site off its test location at netfirms and
install
| it on our earthlink web server. I have all the info I need from you
guys --
| I think -- but the earthlink techs say the upload must be done in ftp. I
| insist that it can't be because of FPSE and possible corruption of files,
| particularly all-important forms. They simply say that http is for
browing
| web sites only, not for uploading. I quoted them David Bartosik's clear
| instructions in that regard, and finally they gave up and saic call our
1-800
| number -- we can't address that issue. Has anyone run into this before?
I'm
| tempted to simply go ahead and try to upload out of Publisher according to
| the very simple instructions. I'd prefer not having to talk to a
perfectly
| nice and sincere person who is impossible to understand, so I'm delaying
the
| phone call. But I'm going to have dinner and see if my Publisher gurus
have
| a thought or two first. Thanks
