Hi Jim,
Are you seeing the 'unexpected error' as Nitaw says when you update
a task or the 'unexpected error' Rowie says when saving? Are you
saving to a network drive? Is it possible that the connection to
the network has been interrupted?

I will repost your suggestion to the Server list. However, we've

this problem on and off over the past 2 to 3 years but we've only

using server for the past year. I really do suspect that this is
more a
problem with MS Project Desktop than with Server.
The problem really is difficult to characterize as it has not been
repeatable.
