Hi Tim,
I'm afraid I can't offer any insights as to what may or may not be
included in future releases -- I just don't know. I imagine there
may be more information about what is in the next release of Project
presented at the Project conference in Phoenix in September. So
perhaps your wishes may come true :-)

Thanks for the help Julie, I will use flags for the dates.
Do you know if this is a feature (shading for phases) that might
be
added to Microsoft Project in the future? For long term projects,
this
would be a great addition for scheduling. Thanks again.
Tim
