I am unable to get my projects to print to the printer 11 x 17, they come out fine when I send to 81/2 x 11. I have to print them to pdf then print the pdf to the printer to get the 11 x 17 to come out. Any suggestions how to reduce my steps?

If they print to PDF, and if they look ok in Print Preview, this strongyly suggests something wrong with the printer driver. Suggest you upgrade the printer driver.
