You could show the [Duration Variance] number next to the task bar
to show either positive or negative change to the task duration.
I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Yes, the baseline shows where the task had been, but what were
shooting for
here is showing the amount that was extended. We need the ability
to show how
far the task was extended. The baseline shows how far a task was
delayed, but
you don't know the amount of time it was extended.

From tools menu, tracking sub-menu, select save baseline.
From the views menu, select the tracking gantt.
This will show your original plan as the baseline and the current
plan as
separate bars.

I would like the ability to show a task's previous dates. Would
this be
possible to display it as a faded taskbar? I know this is an
exponential
ripple effect, but at least 1 step. This way when a project is
delayed we
can
displayed the previous schedule overlayed by the current
schedule.
Maybe just the ability to overlay a complete schedule, but
faded. All the
schedulers I know try to devise a way to do this.
