Julie,
Thank you especially for 3) below. I had assumed that setting
Physical %
Complete as the default EV method in Tools, Options was all I had to
do.

How do I enable the physical percent complete to roll up on the
summary task?
Thank you!
Hello,
In order for Physical % Complete to roll up to a summary task, the
following must be true:
1) Resources need to be assigned to the tasks.
2) Resources need to have costs associated (even $1 per hour in the
standard rate field will do).
3) The earned value method for *all* tasks must be set to Physical
%
complete. Insert the earned value method field in the task ***
and
ensure all tasks are set correctly.
4) A baseline needs to be saved after steps 1-3 have been
completed.
I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
