Well, as the FAQ says, if the preview is OK you must look outside Project.
Have you installed the latest printer driver?

Project 2007 SP1, Print Preview displays as expected. FAQ 44 no help.
Print to HP hardcopy or .pdf with Acrobat 8 yeilds same result. Tested on
3
different PCs with same Project installed - all results the same.
Horizontal
lines still missing from bar style.
