I have just started using MS Project and I am having a problem with
fractional totals showing up in the summary tasks even though I have been
working in whole or half days. I would expect thhe durations to be either
whole numbers or with a extra 0.5 . Instead I end up with durations like
5.167 or 3.875.

I have looked for readily apparent problems but I used only whole or 0.5
days for durations and all resources are 100 percent commited. I can go
back
throuugh the individual task and find the fractions but have no idea how
they
changed away form what I had entered.
