Hi

We have been facing issues building the cube, every day we come accros
something new that causes the cube build to fail. Recently we rebooted the
server as part of our usual maintenance and cube started failing again.
The
error was
"Analysis Services session failed with the following error: Cannot
overwrite
an Olap database created outside of Project Server or by another Project
Server Site."

We tried following
We first Deleted the OLAP DB, then tried to create with the same name from
the UI(Server Settings ->Build Settings), it failed, then renamed and OLAP
DB
and built cube again, this time the cube started building but it fails
sometimes (no pattern identified). Also the DataAnalysis views stopped
building and the name if the OLAP DB does not appear in the Server
Settings-->ManageViews-->Newview-->Viewtype=DataAnalysis-->Analysis
Services
Database to be created = ??? there is no DB listed there.

What should I do get the OLAP DB Name in the drop down list so that my
Data
Analysis views start working?

Thanks so much!
