Drivers should come from the printer manufacturer, ie HP.

Hi Mike:
Thanx for your reply.
We are on an internal netowrk, and all folks see the same thing...
i.e. , all have the same problem tha Project does not see the
plotter. If a driver update is necessary, would this come from
Microsoft
or HP (HP9500 plotter). Like I said earlier, Viso sees the plotter
just fine.

OK, Dale, then the only other thing that I can think of is that
Project is not properly recognizing your plotter. Have you tried
getting the latest driver? If that doesn't work, then I'm at a
loss to know what to suggest. Does this happen with a new project?
How's it on other PCs or Plotters? Have you tried re-installing
Project with its latest Service Releases?

Hi Mike:
Thank you for your reply.
The FAQs did not help.
They basically talk about adjusting paper size, zooming, etc.
I have been throiugh all of this.
The Problem is that MS Project, Page Setuo, does not recognize
that I have a large paper source (e.g, HP9500 plotter) selected,
evben though FIle > Print shows it as being setup with the large
page size, etc.
The problem appears to be limitations in the Page Setup.
Any ideas ?

Hi
I have charts (various) in Project, that I want to printout on
my HP 9500 plotter.
The plotter has a roll of paper that is 42" wide.
I setup the size under File > Print. ... no problem.
Now, I go to File > Page Setup...
Here's the problem...Page Setup does not allow me to use a
non-standard size source of paper. It has Custom sizes but does
not show the size I entered under File > Print ... just 8 1/2
x
11. So, if I do a Print Preview, it panles (subdivides) the
document to be printed by the file size selected in Page Setup,
not that specified under File > Print.
File > Page Setup does not "see" that I have specified the
plotter with
a landscape paper size of 100 x 42 (100 or whatever length
dimension I give it).
I can choose other oversize paper sizes like ANSI E, F...etc.
but Project won't accept a specified non-standard paper size in
Page Setup.
Why not ?...and How to I work around this problem to be able to
specify
the plotter paper size ???
