OK I did it myself, no more guesswork
You want a grouping by Resource, then by Project, not showing thae
assignment details?
I have it in front of me.

Group, New
Check On Group Assignments, not Resources (!!!!!VITAL)
Group by Name
Then by Project, Field type= assignment (VITAL)
OK, Apply

Show, Outline Level2

That's it, definitely, it's here before me

Hi,

The Show/Hide Assignments button hide the name of the shared projects as
well and keeps the name of the resource pool only, I am looking to get the
names of the projects that is assigned to each resource without the tasks
for
each project, and it seemed that there is no way I can hide the tasks and
just keep the projects name, or may be I am doing it wrong!

You don't have to hid ethe details, but use the "Show/Hide Assignments"
button.

I tried to group by projects and hide the details but it hides the
resources
as well, I need a table that would have the following columns: Names
without
detailed tasks ; projects, total work start,and finish.
