ATI Display Driver Crashes MS Project

I have a Dell Precision Workstation 530 with an ATI X700 Pro video card
installed running XPsp2. We use this as our conference room computer,
so it is connected to both an Infocus LP640 and a std crt. Everything
except MS Project 2003 works fine, if you set ATI's control panel to
only use a single display MS Project works fine. We had the same
problem earlier with an old ATI card, but were able to rollback the
display driver and MS Project worked. Since this new video card does
not have an old driver, we can't use that fix. ATI tech support says
it is Microsoft's problem. The fix that was reported here earlier
("Crash Loop with PowerPoint and Projector" Apr 22) doesn't apply to
our display driver.
Has anyone else worked around this problem?
