Can't be done. You can link a spreadsheet to Project, but I don't recommend
it. Copy/Paste Link uses the old DDE technology and it's too easy to corrupt
either or both of the files at either end of the link.
Project can save its files to an Access database (File, Save as and format
..mpd or .mdb - same result). pjdb.htm is in one of Project's program folders
and has details of what's in all Project tables. With care you can edit
these tables (read the htm file VERY carefully) and the project file will
open with your edits in place.
