Thanks for pointing out another good research resource.
I think this question is also relevant to this group, though, since
prior to posting my question, searching within this group for
"archiving" returned about 10 results and "archive" returned 67. Many
of those posts asked similar questions, but most were not answered.
Maybe the question was not clear enough, which is why you don't think
it's relevant. So let me restate it more clearly:
Is there a way to hide .mpp files, period. In project professional,
when I click File > Open, I don't want all my old, finished projects to
show up in the dialogue box. An earlier post suggested that one can
"hide" old files without removing them - how does one do that?
Will backing up a project to a CD or Tape affect the project's
information in any way? Specifically (but not limited in scope to)
actual hours, assigned resources, and the project timeline.
