Work would of course be spread - the duration of a task is the length of
time between when work begins and when it is done so work would take place
throughout the task duration by the very definition of "task" (although it
might be interrupted part way through in the event of a split task). Put
another way, if all of the work accrued on the last day of the task it would
be a one day duration task requiring a heavy resource committment that day
to get it done on time. If it's not a constant amount each day over the
course of the task you can use work contours to distribute it over the
duration according to your reality - i.e., 2 hr Mon, 3 hr Tue, 4 hr Wed, 6
hr Thur, 4 hr Fri for a 5 day duration task requiring 19 man-hours of
labour. The *cost* of the work can be accrued either at the start, the end,
or prorated as the work occurs.
