Export Wizard - Duration and Work

Dear All,
I am using the export map wizard to create csv delimited
files to load project data to a repository. The resultant
duration and work fields can be in a differing format of
days or weeks, and difficult to identify and manipulate.
Project does store durations in minutes, but that doesn't
seem to be available after the export.
Should I be addressing this problem using a VBA approach?
I know that I can run the Duration Macro against the
projects (and change to minutes), or change the format
using Tools Options, but as there are multi-projects
involved, and I am ecouraging team-leaders to load the
files themselves (by a File load option) I don't
necessarily get to see the file before it is in the
repository.
Also, using the Wizard takes 2 runs - one for tasks and
assignments, and the 2nd for resources.
Is there a better way to load the data?
Using 2002 Std.
Kind Regards........Geoff
