Installation

I am trying to install Microsoft Project Standard Trail Version 2002. During installation Norton anti virus displays an alert that states (File D:\DEFAULT.HTA) is a malicious script and recommends that I stop this script at which time installtion also stops. I also have other options including to authorize this script and proceed. My question is can I authorize this script without harming my computer? Otherwise I wasted my money on a product that is not supported by Microsoft.
