Travis --

You cannot create a custom Resource Usage report that shows each resource
and only the tasks in the active project. The reason for this is because
the Resource Usage view shows assignments across all projects in the system.

On the other hand, you can create a custom Group and apply it to the Task
Usage view so that it makes this view look like the Task Usage view. Using
this trick, you can create a View that looks like Resource Usage but shows
only assignments in the active project. Here's how:

1. Open the administrative project
2. Click Project - Group by - More Groups

3. Click the New button

4. Name the new Group "_Group by Resource Assignments" and select the Show
in menu option

5. Select the "Group by assignments, not tasks" option below the data grid

6. On the Group By line, select the Name field and set the Field Type as
Assignment

7. On the Then By line, select the Name field and set the Field Type as
Task

8. Click the OK button

9. Apply your new Group to the Task Usage view

10. Click the Show button on the Formatting toolbar and select Outline
Level

Once you have applied the Group to the Task Usage view, it looks like the
Resource Usage view. You can now zoom the timescale to Months Over Weeks
and then print the View. Hope this helps.
