Hi

Issue:
========
Receives the error message, You need Microsoft Project Professional 2002 or
Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003 in order to perform this action.

CAUSE:
======
1. The user account was not set as the Default account in Project Pro.
2. The Project Server URL was not added in the Trusted site.
3. They are using the FQDN of the Project Server URL in IE to connect to
PWA.
4. However, in Project Pro, they used the IP address of the Project Server
machine.

RESOLUTION:
============
1. Opened Start programs MS Office Microsoft Office Tools Office Project
Server Accounts
2. Made the user account as the Default profile.
3. Added the FQDN of the Project Server in the Trusted Sites of IE.
4. Also changed the URL for Project Server in Project Pro with the FQDN
instead of the IP Address.

Hope this address your issue.

Thanks
VP
