Edward,

VMWare for Linux? or Novell? Either way, this sounds like the most painful
thing I could imagine in a software implementation. I be very surprised if
you got any affirmative responses to your post. The project server suite of
tools is difficult enough to implement when you're running in the native
environment. Putting VMWare in the mix is just asking for trouble. Where's
that cat-o-nine-tails anyway?

However, if you were to successfully pull this off you'd certainly have
earned yourself some bragging rights - so please make sure to let us all
know how it goes. Godspeed my friend.

Earl

2003, MS Project 2003 Server, WSS, IIS, and SQL Server on VMWare (not
Virtual PC 2004)? I would like to discover the issues and risks associated
with this as a customer of mine has an IT team that wants to save on
purchase of two additional servers. They plan to provide PWA to up to 250
users and 25 PMs. I might add that this is a Novell domain directory
environment.
