Nick,
You may want to try installing Project Server 2003 again and maybe to a
different server. My considerable experience with 2003 shows that
performance across the board is much better with 2003. Are you
comparing the exact same projects? Are you connecting to each server
from the exact same desktop?
If you'd like, I would be willing to take a look at your database and
let you know what times we see on our servers. We do Project Server
hosting so I have several I can test against. Consider it a freebie
since I think 2003 is so much better than 2002 and want to help you
come to the same conclusion.
