Thanks for the reply. I probably should make my question clearer. Is there anyway to select a single project from the backup medium and saving it to the 'real' database without first restoring the entire database to a temporary database?

     Hi
I have done this before by opening the plan via ODBC link
to the restored database, saving it locally and then
saving it onto the 'real' database after deleting the old
plan. This seemed to work OK

takes the Production backup and restores the full database
to our Test Project Server than pulls off this single
project. Unfortunately, all test changes are wiped out.
