Thanks very much for your reply. Since I didn't change anything
initially, I expected to continue working the way I used to, but I
suppose that would be too straightforward...
Of course it would. We've got to keep the IT and tech support guys in
business, don't we? ;)
I'll start working on the
problem asap and I'll let you know.
Sounds good- I still have a PPC 2003 and bluetooth card around here
somewhere if I need to set it up to jog my memory!
Tonight I took a lot of time to try and make it work, but it's absolutely
frustrating.
I think it is a port problem. Om the PPC I see under ActiveSync BT connetion
properties: service name: com6.
Now when I look under BT devices on PC, I have com ports starting at 7. Now
I removed them all, and tried to add com ports again, but they get numbered
7 and up...
Why can't I make choices what number a new com port is?
In the past it has worked very well, but I can't remember one bit how I did
it. The only thing I remember that it was very hard to find out and this was
long ago.
