Not Syncing: Vista Home Premium (w/ WMDC 6.1) & HP PPC WM5.0

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I have been reading many forums and other sites with no solution
still...

I have a HP iPAQ 2495 (Windows Mobile 5.0) and my computer is a
Toshiba Vista Home Premium (32bit). I downloaded the newer Windows
Mobile Device Center from Microsoft (v. 6.1).

The first time I connected the device (USB) to the PC, the Auptoplay
window opened. I closed it and the PC automatically installed the
driver.

After discovering the WMDC 6.1, I downloaded and installed it. Did a
system reboot. I connected the device and opened the WMDC from Control
Panel and Connection Settings window opens, with both USB and
Bluetooth checked (also tried with only USB box checked) I click "OK".
However, nothing happens from there. ???

Does anybody know what is wrong?
