I'd think twice before getting the 211. While it's really cheap, it hassome
severe problems I've also outlined in my 211 review: for example, theI
insensitive touchscreen. Also, HP won't release any OS upgrade for it. If
were you, I would get the Touch HD, should you need a VGA device with a
considerably large screen - or, for that matter, a used hx4700 with the
cooked WM 6.1 upgrade.
I own a 211 and it has some "severe problems." One of the things I've
noticed is when it starts acting funny you have to hit the reset on it and
then after you hit the reset you might lose Bluetooth Icon until you hit
reset again. A fix for the Bluetooth problem has been posted here but I
don't see that problem enough.
It does what I bought it for. I can get the internet from a phone via BT
PAN or BT DUN and the 640x480 screen helps in some areas, like controlling
my home computer but 640x480 isn't always needed for that application.
I originally thought that the 640x480 screen would make a Slingbox look
better but I found out Slingbox limits there resolution on a PPC to 320x240
so the 640x480 didn't help there.
But if you could get a 211 with WM 6.1 I'd say go for it.
