I've installed MortScript, and created (using PHM text pad) a file
containing the following text, and named "test.mscr".

run "/windows/async.lnk"
waitfor ActiveSync,2
sleep 3000
SendKeys "s"

When I click on it, WM asks me which program to open it with. The
"recommended" choice is Mortscript, so it would seem it knows, but when I
choose it and hit "Done", nothing happens - no error, but neither does it
seem to run. Is there a Mortscript executable that should be somewhere? I
don't see it on the device.

Strange... It was quite long since I installed it on my X30H
(WM2003SE) but if I remember correctly the installer took care
of the assosiation with *.mscr files.

Did you install via a CAB/ActiveSync or did you just copied the
EXE-file over?

Ok. I solved this particular problem - I had installed somewhere else
(from a CAB file), but installation into main memory fixed it. Now, the
problem is that the program doesn't do anything. It knows it's supposed to
open it with MortScript, but when I click on the file containing the code
you gave me, nothing happens. I did try replacing the "/" with "\" as well,
since I think that's the Windows convention.
Anyway, is there a simple "hello world" snippet I can use to see if it's
even being run, and/or have it print out if there's an error from the "run"
command to see what's going on?

Mike
