Re: internet explorer - windows mobile 5 very slow and disconnection

I don't think the WM6 IEM would be MUCH better (as long as yours is at least
an AKU2 WM5 and not earlier - early WM5 IEM's were much slower than AKU2+
ones). Therefore, give a try to Opera.

As long as you meant JavaScript and NOT Java Applets under "Java", of
course. If you really meant Java applets, then, you will need to look for
somewhere else.

In my company we have developed a web application (Java/Struts) which
runs on internet explorer / windows mobile 5, and which uses so the
GPRS connection. The pb is that the pages are very slow (from 30s.to 2
min.) and that nerves greatly users (and only on the Pocket PC not on
the PC).

Other pb : it disconnects if we don't use the Pocket PC during a few
minutes (and yet only on the Pocket PC not on the PC).

Someone would have several solutions (the pages are very light:
average 5 kb) ?
- Opera ?
- WM6 ?
- Rewrite stand-alone application ?

Thanks for your answers,
Nico
