good question, as there are many traps... first, repost at news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.pocketpc.developer to get more accurate resposes, but, until then,

the app _should_ look in the directory where it started

try putting the address of the file in quotes

try putting the file in a directory location which contains no spaces.
