Re: file transfer

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

First, do you have Outlook on yoru desktop? Other ways of synchronizations
is much more complicated because of the different WinCE database structure
in WM2003 and WM5..

If you do want to do the latter, you WILL need to learn how WinCE databases
can be exported and imported from tools like SKTools. Search for example
"WindowsCE" and "SKTools" in the blog. Again, I don't really recommend this
way - Outlook syncing is far easier.

Synchronize it through ActiveSync + Outlook - it's the fastest & safest
method.

If you don't have Outlook on your desktop computer, follow my blog - I've
elaborated on Contacts database-related tricks a lot in there.

Any hint?

Hello,

is there a way to copy the "contacts"-data

(phone numbers, addresses) from a
PocketPC 2003 to a WindowsMobile 2005 PDA.

PPC-2003-file -> Computerr -> Mobile 2005.
Which file is it and where can I find it,
or how would you do this?

Thanks a lot
Ernst Sauer
