Well, the cynical approach/expectation is for the solution to be
"upgrade to the latest OS and devices with the proper settings".
You'd think they could at least issue a patch that added a "custom" time
zone that could be user defined- i.e. how many hours +/- GMT you are, and
a checkbox for "is it currently DST/Summer Time?"
Problem solved!
That would be very nice, indeed.
