HI ALL,
I HAVE JUST BROUGHT AN ACER N50 PREMIUM AND CAN NOT CONNECT IT TO MY HOME
WIRELESS NETWORK.
I HAVE A LINKSYS WGKPC354G-UK WIRELESS ROUTER WHICH COMMUNICATES
EXCELLENTLEY
WITH MY LAPTOP.
I just got an Acer N50 yesterday. It was a bit of a pain to setup the wifi
as the manual was different and implied no wifi built in.
Make sure you select the samsung wlan cf driver. Select internet for type
of connection. Make sure your wep key is correct and it is case sensitive.
I did manage to get mine connect and it works perfectly. However when I took
the pda to town today I could not connect to other networks. One open
unsecured network in a cafe just would not load pages. One secured network
would not connect even though I had the correct WPA key. Seems hit and
miss.
I suggest you phone ACER, the phone number should be on the front of the box
somewhere.
.
