Re: Newbie needs help: Transferring files using MSWord

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

within activesync, check "Files" which will create a folder and a desktop shortcut to that folder which will be named according to your device name.

Place any files there, including doc and excel, then connect your ppc.

The files will "appear" on you ppc, doc files will show in the pword file menu... you can open and edit them, but, be aware, advanced features may be removed during a ppc edit and the modified file will sync back to the pc, overwriting the original.
